We support parents and carers so that they are better able to carry on with their often difficult role of parenting a child or children with additional needs. We provide subsidised activities such as spa days, afternoon teas and lunches. We also have an annual christmas night out and several nights away to hotels and tribute nights during the year. These events are an opportunity to let our hair down and have fun with the other carers in our community. This is part of our continued commitment to supporting the needs of the whole family and not solely those of the child with a disability. Adult siblings who still live at home are also able to attend these subsidised events and join in the fun.
